On Monday morning, Christiane Klimsch, Managing Director of the Hospice and Palliative Foundation, received a symbolic donation cheque for 500 euros in exchange for 4 Christmas trees. These now adorn the two recycling centers and the administration buildings at Löbstedter Straße 56 and 68. The KSJ also took over the transport of around 200 Christmas trees from Umpferstädt to the Jena hospice via the container service division.

Christmas tree donation campaign becomes a tradition
The Christmas tree donation campaign will take place on December 15 at Hospiz Jena; Paul-Schneider-Straße 5.

For the 3rd year now, the Jena Hospice is making Christmas trees of various sizes available for collection in return for a donation. This campaign starts with the opening of the 15th door of the Lobeda Advent calendar at 3.30 pm. Freshly baked waffles, hot tea or mulled wine and a Christmas carol sing-along around a cozy campfire await all visitors. You can find more information at: https://www.hospiz-jena.de/

The hospice association has been committed to providing dignified care for seriously ill people and their relatives for many years. The donation from Kommunalservice Jena will be used specifically to provide the necessary resources and services to make life easier for those affected in their most difficult phase of life.
